Wow this trip exceeded my expectations. I was a bit nervous launching into this as my first solo travel and first runcation, but I'm so glad I did! I'll start with Kara, Hamid, and the staff--they were all super friendly, had every logistical question answered for, and showed us a side of Morocco I couldn't even think of conceiving if I had all the time in the world. The runs and the terrain were gorgeous and nothing I have ever seen before , especially when I compare it to the concrete jungle I live in NYC, and all so different -- it's so hard to figure out which one I like the best. The food was nourishing (love msemens and daily nous nous) and was good fuel for a running trip. I think what's uniquely awesome about this trip (espeically to other generic tours I've considered before) is that Rogue trips attracts a certain person that is open minded and is willing to sign up for a physically challenging trip, which all somehow leads to immediate chemistry in the group. I loved all the people who joined the trip, and I'm such a big introvert that it was nice to have people where the baseline interests are very similar, but also allowed me to meet new people so different than those in my tradiitional circles. I don't have anything to critique really - it's more I wish I had more time to also check out all the cultural parts of Morocco, but I wouldn't trade any of the items of the itinerary (least of al the running) to accomodate that. Anywyas, I will be signing up for more Rogue trips!
